Ki Ki So So

This afternoon I was in a bookshop hunting for a book and while deciding on which book to purchase, I spent some time listening to some buddhism chant, mantra and song. And I came across an album by Ravena Michaelson, an American singing dharma songs and the first title was Ki Ki So So.

This song brought back some memories of my trip to Northern Indian, a small town called Leh in Ladakh, located in the state of Northern India, Jammu and Kashmir, which is the south of the Great Himalayan and border of Tibet.  Ladakh is famously known as "Little Tibet" and without reading from any book, you can claim as you see for what is famous for.

We have a local Ladakhi guide and he speaks Tibetan and our entire journey was very much driving over ranges and mountain to reach our final city - Sri Nagar located in Kashmir Valley before we flew back to New Delhi.  Passing by the mountain, there were many stupas and place of worship, and I remember at the highest peak of the trip, my guide suggested to us to devote and make a wish and to chant Ki Ki So So Lha Gyal Lo, a Tibetan chant that means Victory to the God.  As I am always observant of the surrounding, I noticed most of the transporter trucks written Ki Ki So So on the front of the vehicle, that tells if the truck is originated from Ladakh or Jammu which is highly populated by Muslim.

I did my prayer and devotion and I believe my prayer had been answered and I am so grately and blessed.
